Johor Bahru gained a special identity for being the Royal City of Johor, with that, it is hard to pin point one style of architectural expression for the city , that merge of different influences and inspirations for the buildings give it its unique sense of identity as a meeting point for across the sea empires. From these influences we can mention : Indian, British colonial, Chinese, Malay, Arab and later the modern wave and of course the contemporary buildings.
